　　Bing in love

　　Love starts as an attraction to another. Love grows with mutual respect. Love thrives on confidence and dignity. Love survives on wisdom and honor.

　　New love, stirs the emotions, moves the soul and fires the blood setting hearts aflame. 　　These days, people who do manual work often receive far more money than clerks who work in offices. People who work in offices are frequently referred to as' white collar workers' for the simple reason that they usually wear a collar and tie to go to work. Such is human nature, that a great many people are often willing to sacrifice higher pay for the privilege of becoming white collar workers. This can give rise to curious situations, as it did in the case of Alfred Bloggs who worked as a dustman for the Ellesmere Corporation.

　　When he got married, Alf was too embarrassed to say anything to his wife about his job. He simply told her that he worked for the Corporation. Every morning, he left home dressed in a smart black suit. He then changed into overalls (n.工作服) and spent the next eight hours as a dustman. Before returning home at night, he took a shower and changed back into his suit. Alf did this for over two years and his fellow dustmen kept his secret. 　　一閱讀方式總結(jié)

　　1.略讀。粗略地閱讀語言材料的面式讀法。通過略讀獲取閱讀材料的主要內(nèi)容和大意�？焖匍喿x時，訓練學生略讀文章標題判斷預測主要內(nèi)容。略讀首尾段、首尾句了解文章大意。

　　2.跳讀。帶著明確目的尋找特定信息，忽略無關(guān)內(nèi)容的點式閱讀。跳讀適用于細節(jié)檢索式問題。

　　二巧妙繞開生詞

　　1英語文章中不是所有的詞的'功能都是同等的，有些詞擔負著傳達主要信息的功能，而有些詞主要起語法作用或者它所傳達的信息和下文的其他信息沒有聯(lián)系。

　　這類詞有：表示人名，地名，機構(gòu)名等專有名詞。遇到這些詞，只要我們能辨認出它是專有名詞，就能理解文章而不必知道它的意思。比如在下面的句子中：

　　1.先看題目后看文章。盡管信息匹配題在考細節(jié)，但是題干涉及的細節(jié)信息往往反映文章的主旨或段落主題，所以，通過快速瀏覽題干中的若干條細節(jié)信息，考生可以迅速把握文章的主旨，從而能夠在回頭閱讀原文時加快定位速度，節(jié)省閱讀時間。

　　2. 先易后難，步步為營。采用由易到難的解題策略，可以提升考生的解題信心。對于那些能迅速找出定位信息返回的句子，考生不妨先做。而對于答題線索較少的題目，考生可留在最后再解答。

　　二、詞匯理解

　　【應(yīng)對策略】

　　1. 精讀文章開頭部分文字。尤其是第一句，確定本文主題。文章主旨的確定對于篇章語境的整體把握意義重大。

　　2. 確定各單詞的基本詞性。這里所說的基本詞性是指該單詞最常見的詞性。例如，turn一般作動詞，但在動詞短語at the turn of the century中，它也可以用作名詞。不過，其最常用的情況是作動詞，那么我們就把其歸于動詞類。如果做題時，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)空格處在一個介詞后面，而介詞后面是賓語，即介詞后面應(yīng)該是名詞，若其它名詞不能與之搭配，我們再考慮像turn這樣既能用作動詞又能用作名詞的單詞。

　　3. 設(shè)定詞性類別：名，動，形，副，現(xiàn)在分詞。本次考試與歷年考試一致，所涉及的詞性類別只局限于上述五類，四級考試該題型中，從未涉及指代詞，介詞，定冠詞等虛詞的填寫。

　　4. 按照各單詞的基本詞性將15個單詞逐一分別歸類。

　　5. 根據(jù)基本的句法常識和邏輯意義進行填寫。填寫時，注意，上下文是否合乎語法，句子內(nèi)部各成分間的搭配是否邏輯，句子與句子之間是否連貫一致。

　　仔細閱讀總體上可以劃分為主旨類題目和細節(jié)類題目。筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)，從05年開始，主旨類題目的比重大幅下降，細節(jié)題已然成為主流。

　　1. 一切以立足原文為基準。

　　2. 以文章信息為主導來選擇一個原文表述一致的信息或者是同義改寫的信息，以提高選項的正確率。

　　3. 務(wù)必確定答案所在位置.題干和答案緊密結(jié)合，構(gòu)成一個獨立完整不可分割的意義單位。我們在找答案的時候，絕對不能脫離題干。

　　4. 服從主旨原則。此處所談的主旨包括段落主旨和全文主旨。把握文章主題，是正確快捷的解決閱讀中的難題，取得閱讀高分的基本前提。

　　5. 熟悉錯誤選項的設(shè)置方式，謹防干擾。

　　(1) 顛倒黑白。即選項和原文的基本觀點或者事實相反，原文說西，選項說東，原文說壞，選項說好。

　　(2) 無中生有。即選項的內(nèi)容在原文中根本就不存在。

　　(3) 張冠李戴。即原文說甲事物具有某特征，選項卻張冠李戴。

　　四、通用七大技巧

　　答題技巧一： 詳略得當

　　對于大學英語四級閱讀來說，根據(jù)題目的'“題眼”快速在文章中找到答案是最關(guān)鍵的，這樣我們就要在閱讀時注意詳略得當�？朔�精讀精益求精的習慣，做到有信息處精讀，無信息處略讀，略讀處一掃而過。

　　題目中數(shù)字、人名等信息(題眼)在原文中對應(yīng)的部分必須詳讀。而對所要解釋或證明的觀點的細節(jié)舉例處或者通常有數(shù)個名詞的并列項，它們不是完整的主謂賓的句子，因此無法與問題對應(yīng)的詳細列舉處，都可以略讀。

　　答題技巧二：顯性信息

　　查讀的信息通常是顯性信息，只要將問題在原文中進行準確定位就能得到正確答案，一般不需要做推理。

　　特別提示：考生對于以下一些顯性信息也應(yīng)注意。

　　(1) 表示因果關(guān)系的詞或詞組：because， reason， due to， since， so that， therefore等

　　(2) 表示目的關(guān)系的詞或詞組：in order to， so as to， by等

　　(3) 表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系的詞或詞組：but， however， yet等

　　(4) 表示對比關(guān)系的詞或詞組：contrary to， unlike， like等

　　答題技巧三：題文同序

　　英語四級考試的閱讀部分，問題順序與原文順序一致(有時順序不一致)，這就要求考生應(yīng)該按照題目的順序依次做題。

　　答題技巧四：分解對應(yīng)

　　分解對應(yīng)四分法：快速將問題分解成4個部分(主A 謂B賓C+其他D)，與原文進行對比。

　　答題技巧五：選小不選大

　　四級閱讀中，問題的范圍必須小于原文范圍，反之則不選。

　　不能選的選項為：

　　(1) 選項的信息與原文內(nèi)容相反

　　(2) 選項將原文的意思張冠李戴

　　(3) 將原文中的不確定因素轉(zhuǎn)化為確定因素

　　(4) 改變原文中的條件、范圍等

　　答題技巧六： 主賓判定

　　四級閱讀中，將題干的句子進行簡單分解后，問題中的主語、賓語在原文未出現(xiàn)或被偷換概念，則不選。

　　不選的選項：

　　(1) 選項表述無中生有

　　(2) 原文中作者的目的、意圖、愿望等內(nèi)容在選項作為客觀事實陳述

　　(3) 將原文中的特殊情況推廣為普遍現(xiàn)象

　　(4) 將原文的內(nèi)容具體化

　　(5) 隨意比較原文中的兩個事物

　　答題技巧七：相關(guān)信息準確合并

　　考生遇到問題時，不能只局限在某一段里面找答案，可以先做后面的題目，在后面的閱讀中發(fā)現(xiàn)還有該題的答案時，將相關(guān)信息合并后再確定答案。

The sad truth is, great talent is not enough.
